MotoGP 08

Whether you're a hardcore racing fan or someone who just likes to screw around on the track, Capcom's MotoGP 08 suits everyone.

Those of you who think that you know about racing motorcycles because you and your buddy ride around on crotch rockets over the weekend haven't seen anything until you've experienced MotoGP. And while you will almost assuredly never get the chance to race in the real MotoGP, Capcom gives you a chance to get behind the handlebars in MotoGP 08.

Something for Everyone

While MotoGP 08's biggest draw is that it allows players to experience the thrill of Grand Prix motorcycle racing, the game ensures that everyone can still have a good time with its Arcade, Advanced, and Simulation modes. As you might expect, Arcade mode is more for the novices as you won't be wrecking all over the track and your bike seems to somehow go twice as fast as everyone else. Advanced mode gets a little tougher as sharp turns will dump you and your bike while Simulation mode fits those serious enough to throw on a flame retardant racing suit before they pick up the controller.

Anybody who plays MotoGP 08 long enough will eventually find themselves wanting to try out the career mode at some point. As with many other games, the career mode will see you working your way up from the depths of the racing world to stardom. If you just want to play as the real racers though, MotoGP also allows people to choose real riders and racing teams as well. Plus 125cc, 250cc, and MotoGP classes are all available.

Night Rider

Just as in real races, players will experience what it's like to race during the night and in rain in MotoGP 08. It's not really any tougher to see while racing at night since everything is so lit up, but the scenery will change such as the sky gets darker and shadows will appear from the bikes. The graphics are impressive and you'll get a chance to see for yourself when the game drops in late October.

Damn just last week on one of these articles Spicthunder told leiderhausen that he had a "crotch rocket" and he wasnt talkin about no motorcycle. With a combination of KY's "His & His" lube and a bottle of vitamin E you be nailin that mofos ass huh Spicthunder?

I think I had an old one of these, I got in too it because of GT4. It's a good game, but if your not a big motorcycle fan, it's appeal dies away quickly.
