Oops, I meant to say, the Original is Seven Years old. I don't know why I was thinking 2002 instead of 2001.

I'm not going to get it. This POS is not Red Faction, and was a dumb ass decision on Volition's part to piss on the fans of the series by destroying anything that even resembles a Red Faction game aside from the destruction (which probably still sucks compared to the original game which is six years old mind you).[p] It's just going to be another average action game. I predict a 3.0-3.75 score from GamePro, and seven's all around from other reviewers. Just looking at it screams average rip-off game. Instead of adding to the innovative concept of the original RF, they instead decided to make a me-too Gears of War Theft Duty 4 with the Red Faction name.[p] It's a shame, because it could have really been something special. Now it's just average forgettable crap that no one will remember a month after it releases. F*ck Volition.

Looks cool. I'm not sure if I'll have as much fun with this as I did with the orginal Red Faction. Hopefully you'll still be able to create tunnels and caves with explosives

I been hoping for a new Red Faction game this generation and I'm only hoping the 360 won't be the only one to have this new installment to the franchise. I spent so much time with the other two games I felt like I was on Mars with the whole team (well maybe not that drastic,I'm sure you get the point though). Looks good,hope it plays just as good.

Is there anyone here that remembers a game called "Tribes"? I sure do. All I see in this game are "Tribes" rip offs. A repair gun that looks like a proton pack!? Look at the original Tribes and you will find that exact same item doing that exact same thing. Inventory station's around the map where you can switch out back packs for different abilities!? That is another Tribes gimmick. A gun that shoots saw blades!? That might as well be a disc launcher in my book. If this game is ripping off of something it is most certainly Tribes. Tribes started a lot of what this new Red "Tribes" Faction game is trying to be! If you agree let me know. The only thing this game is missing is a jet pack.
