In Yuke?s futuristic brawler, Eve of Extinction, you?ll play as Josh Calloway, a genetically engineered agent for a multinational corporation called Wisdom Inc. Armed with a shapeshifting weapon called Legacy, Josh becomes a one-man abattoir when his girlfriend?s soul is amalgamated with a rare metal to produce a weapon of mass destruction. The graphics in the preview build were smooth, with nicely designed, free-roaming 3D environments, and each weapon had its own special attack. The super cumbersome controls, however, may wind up kicking this game where it hurts when it comes out in March.
