The next evolution of more intelligent and efficient real-time strategy games on a console.
Related Command & Conquer 3 news:
Real-time strategy games are, for the most part, irksome to play on consoles compared to PCs. The problem lies in handheld controllers, which can't offer the same depth and quick response time you get by using a mouse and keyboard. But we think Command & Conquer 3: Kane's Wrath is one step closer to perfecting console RTS efficiency and playability.
Full Circle
The new radial command-stick interface makes Kane's Wrath more fun to play.
The answer lies in the radial "command-stick interface," which is a new feature to Kane's Wrath. By selecting an infantry barracks, for example, and holding the Right Trigger brings up a circular, clock-like dial. Each of the 12 positions on the dial represents a different unit, be it a structure, vehicle, or airship. This allows you to quickly select the desired unit to build and move on to the next task.
After a short 20-min skirmish I was beginning to get the hang of the new, and surprisingly intuitive command-stick interface. From anywhere on the map you can call up build productions on any unit or upgrade. It's the best multitasking system for unit production in any console RTS. I was calling in reinforcements from across the map with speed and precision using the new command-stick system.
Kane's Challenge
Another new addition that is exclusive to the Xbox 360 version is Kane's Challenge mode, which is a gauntlet of ten skirmish matches featuring nine playable factions. That essentially adds up to 90 skirmish permutations in Kane's Challenge mode. Challenge mode is the best place to hone your online multiplayer skills.
And speaking of online, Kane's Wrath features five different multiplayer modes from standard four-way deathmatch to king of the hill. There will be more than 50 maps on the retail disc with more on the way via downloadable content. Command & Conquer 3: Kane's Wrath will be a standalone expansion available at retail outlets for $39.99. You don't have to buy C&C3 to play Kane's Wrath. And since it is "Kane's" Wrath, you will play a new campaign under Kane spanning the NOD faction history before, during, and after the second Tiberium War.

Shit for controls sorry, but the d-pad would be better for switching through unit/building construction, along with one of the main 4 buttons to select the option.

Hey, can someone who's bought this tell me if its worth to buy if you haven't played C&C3: Tiberium? I mostly want this game for its multiplayer, but I'll probably play the campaign too so yeah, will I not know what's going on if I get this?
