Midway and internal developer Surreal Studios (The Suffering: Ties that Bind) present This is Vegas, a Grand Theft Auto-esque open-world action game set in the flamboyant city of sin, Las Vegas. This is Vegas' story pits players up against a powerful businessman dead set on turning Vegas into a lucrative family-friendly tourist trap. That means no more Chippendales, heavy drinking, or late-night gambling.

As a young party-goer, players must build their own powerful empire to weed out the competition and bring back the famous adult playground. Gameplay consists of visiting the hottest clubs to make crucial VIP connections, play at high-stakes tables, compete in underground racing circuits, and fight off enemies with fists and firearms to prove your manly worth. The keys to the city are in your pocket, where you go and what you do is up to you in the open world of This is Vegas available on the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC in late 2008.
