Spider-Man 2: Enter Electro

Spider-Man returns once more to analyze and fill the deep-seated psychological voids of the world?s most prominent super-villains. And then blow up their infernal doomsday devices.

Aw, crap. Looks like Electro got it in his head again to construct another one of them newfangled ?doomsday devices.? This September, our web-slinging friend will once again be on the lookout for a thankless city?s safety in Spider-Man 2: Enter Electro for the PlayStation. Luckily, the Man has a whole new arsenal of special attacks and combos at his disposal to help keep evildoing at bay, including an Ice Web that lets him shatter enemies with a single punch, the self-explanatory Taser-Web, and an auto-aim feature that lets him tackle his targets with token effort and amazing arachnoid accuracy.

Spider-Man 2 will also introduce a new wardrobe to make Peter Parker feel extra pretty, including shock-proof Insulated Armor?perfect for when your dealing with a charged personality like Electro?and the more generally impervious Spider-Phoenix suit. As a nifty bonus, a gallery of artwork called Parker?s Portfolio will also be included in the game, capturing Spidey?s in-game moments as rendered by Marvel artists. The Spider-Man movie doesn?t lay freakish clusters of tiny eggs in theaters until May 2002; ?til then, look to Electro to satiate your Spidey-yearning.
