Classic Bomberman lives on the Xbox 360 in what aspires to be the ultimate version of Hudson's explosive puzzle game.

Everyone's favorite cartoon bomber returns in a totally new multiplayer game for Xbox Live Arcade. Bomberman Live features 8 multiplayer arenas, such as Lost World, a maze where players can become stuck in puddles of quicksand, and Ghost Town, a level riddled with trap doors that players can fall into. Even the classic Bomberman arena has been included in the game.
Bomberman Live, which will be available on XBLA this summer, supports up to 8-player online matches and up to 4-player local matches. In addition to the classic Bomberman experience, there are a handful of unique modes like one where you use paint bombs to paint as many tiles with your character's color before the timer runs out.
Build Your Own Bomberman
Players are able to customize their Bomberman from the feet up, selecting the head, torso, and legs they want for their character. With over 10,000 possible combinations, players can pick everything from a multi-colored mohawked "Punk Rawk" Bomberman to a female Viking Bomberwoman named "Brunnhilde."
Even though Bomberman LIVE is a downloadable game, it's shaping up to be one of the best games you can get on XBLA, and it's a much more wholesome experience than last year's Bomberman: Act Zero. GamePro will keep you updated on this game as we get closer to its launch.
