With a Little Help From My Friends
The other major change in the series comes with the inclusion the Allied Support System, a brand spankin' new feature that puts calling your aerial allies into action right at fingertip access on the directional pad. Sure, the d pad call for help has been done before, but considering just how many dozens of in-game enemy crafts you'll be dealing with, you more than need quick-access support.
Fires of Liberation sounds all well and good, but experiencing it first-hand is the real deal. The enormous setting gives the game an immersive feel, which does a great job in replicating the intensity and overwhelming feel of flight. The hoards of enemies quickly display the need for support and your crew helps out in a big way.
With masses of flyable and beautifully detailed crafts and large new worlds to pummel with fire, Ace Combat is still the best place to go for all your in-air needs.
