A slide at the X06 show in Korea indicates that a 100 GB hard drive is slated to arrive in that region in March 2007.
We already knew the 256 MB Xbox 360 Memory Card was scheduled to hit that same month, but finally we've got some meaningful details on the promised hard-drive upgrade, albeit in something other than English over at Game Inside.
When it will hit the States is anyone's guess at the moment; the price tag is also up in the air. Given that replacing the stock 20 GB drive that comes with the premium system will set you back 100 clams, we can only hope the price per gigabyte drops precipitously in the coming months.
Whatever the case, as the trend toward downloadable content continues, you can bet that there'll be no shortage of gamers out there with a use for a big, fat 100 GB hard drive.
