Due to critical feedback from fans playing in the Neverwinter Nights 2 beta test, Atari has pushed the release date back to October 31st to ensure the highest of quality for devoted followers.

Originally due October 17th, the re-launch of IGN's NWN2 Vault broke the news. Thankfully, two weeks is not an excruciating long delay, for "Neverwinter Nights 2 is nearly complete," an Atari spokesperson told GamePro, "and in order to implement the constructive feed back provided by fans during the NWN2 beta test and to ensure the game reaches the high level of quality and polish that the fans want and expect, the release date has been set as October 31st for the US and November 3rd for Europe."

Neverwinter Nights 2 is the follow-up to the acclaimed D&D-RPG Neverwinter Nights, developed by the team who created Baldur's Gate and Icewind Dale.
