F.E.A.R. Multiplayer Free to Download: No Retail Copy Required

As of August 17, 2006, F.E.A.R.'s multiplayer component will be renamed F.E.A.R. Combat, and the entire multiplayer package will be made available to download for free. No boxed copy required to play.
F.E.A.R. Combat will be free for everyone.
Today Sierra Entertainment announced the re-release of F.E.A.R.'s multiplayer package, renamed and completely free to download. Combat includes all 10 multiplayer modes, 19 maps, 12 weapons, Punkbuster support, and the ability to download user-generated content.
Get a head start on the competition and go to JoinFear.com to register and obtain a keycode. Once the download is made available on August 17, simply enter your advanced keycode and join the Combat.
