Need For Speed Carbon Coming to PS3, Xbox 360, Wii in November

EA has thrown the covers off the latest entry in its marquee racing series, Need for Speed. The latest game is due out for all current-gen and next-gen systems this November.

Dubbed "Need For Speed Carbon," EA has unveiled a few key details that should entice series fans. Players will be able to race on the brink of disaster in the new Canyon Racing mode, which the game's executive producer calls "a real test of a driver's skill."

EA's overall premise for Carbon is simple -- you're in an "all-out war" for territory and must take over enemy turf piece by piece. Car customization also takes top priority this year, with EA promising that you'll be able to tweak your cars "in every way" thanks to new technology called "Autosculpt." Details were not finalized, but we'll keep in touch.

The game is due out this November for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii, PC, PS2, Xbox, GameCube, PSP, DS, GBA, and mobile phones. There's more on EA's official Need for Speed site.
