Blizzard Announces New High Level Armor Set for WOW

World of Warcraft Patch 1.11 gives players a new high level armor set to drool over.

World of Warcraft's 1.10 patch brought weather effects to certain zones in the game, but version 1.11 is just as significant. Coming in Patch 1.11 is a new 40-man raid dungeon named Naxxramas, for which Blizzard has revealed the new high level armor set. WoW players are happy about the new addition to life after level 60, however many are disappointed with the style.

One IGN forum member pointed out the warlocks look like wealthy Sand People, blending a Mayan art style with Tusken Raiders from Star Wars.

Others are frustrated that the stats for the new armor sets are strictly PvE oriented and biased towards healers, whereas most enjoy acquiring high level armor then switching to PvP. There's another problem plaguing the hearts of hardcore raiders. The new Patch 1.11 armor is a nine-piece set. Past armor sets have been eight pieces or less. This means acquiring all nine pieces is going to be very difficult and take a very long time. Enough time to keep you busy until The Burning Crusade expansion arrives.

There is still no official release date for Patch 1.11.
