F.E.A.R. Headed to the Xbox 360

It's a great day to be an Xbox 360 owner -- F.E.A.R. will soon be here! Last year's smash-hit shooter will hit Microsoft's Xbox with new content. Here's the latest word.

Vivendi today announced that PC shooter F.E.A.R. is in the fast track to land on the Xbox 360. A fall 2006 release date is expected.

Though few details are known, Vivendi is saying that the game will contain "new single and multiplayer content." The new single-player experience will, according to Vivendi, "immerse the player deeper in the world of the F.E.A.R. team." Whatever that means. There's new multiplayer action, too, and the game will take full advantage of Xbox Live...great news, considering that the original PC game had phenominal deathmatch action but not nearly enough players to support the best game types.

Vivendi will be showing off F.E.A.R. on Xbox 360 at E3. We'll keep you updated.
