THQ Announces Destroy all Humans! 2

Pandemic currently working on sequel to Destroy all Humans!, set in the sixties

THQ has officially announced Destroy all Humans! 2, the sequel to the sandbox-style, alien vs. human game that released in 2005, for PlayStation 2 and Xbox.

The sci-fi Destroy all Humans! 2 will be set in the 1960s, and will feature the same open-world gameplay, including a new co-operative multiplayer mode. THQ has also promised more weapons, enemies, and a certain breed of ninja warriors.

Says Pandemic president Josh Resnick, "We are pulling out all the stops for the sequel, adding multiplayer co-op, five new open worlds to explore, and the same irreverent humor that was a hallmark of the first Destroy All Humans! game."

No word yet on an official release date, but we expect to hear more at E3.

Thanks to Next Generation.
