Blizzard sheds light on future updates for World of Warcraft
Blizzard today shed new light on an upcoming patch to World of Warcraft, now officially dubbed version 1.11.
Though Blizzard outlined few specific details and changes, it did highlight areas that were being reviewed for the update. For instance, the Mage class will be tweaked to allow for "new, interesting talent builds" and to reduce recharge time between fights.
The version 1.11 patch will also add a new high level dungeon called "Naxxramas" that will support 40-player raiding parties. Blizzard offers a description of the Naxxramas:
Floating above the Plaguelands, the necropolis known as Naxxramas serves as the seat of one of the Lich King's most powerful officers, the dreaded lich Kel'Thuzad. Horrors of the past and new terrors yet to be unleashed are gathering inside the necropolis as the Lich King's servants prepare their assault. Soon the Scourge will march again...
Blizzard recently released version 1.10, a massive change that reworked many character skills and was intended to reduce lage. But many fans are disheartened by the changes in version 1.10, as some skills are much weaker than before.
