Atari Launches Neverwinter Nights 2 Site

Atari and Obsidian reveal new details about Dungeons & Dragons: Neverwinter Nights 2

Thanks to its addictive RPG gameplay and high-profile Dungeons & Dragons license, Neverwinter Nights became an enormous hit for Bioware and publisher Atari.

Though little is officially known about Neverwinter Nights 2, Atari has decided to enlighten the masses by unveiling the game's official web site today. The site contains a smattering of screenshots, a few tidbits of information, and some community features.

Though information on the game is scarce, we do know that Atari is planning to release Neverwinter Nights 2 this September for the PC.

Developer Obsidian promises that the game will include cities that are "teeming with life," "memorable boss battles" that go beyond hack-and-slash combat, and a political prestige system that allows the player to right through the ranks before ultimately commanding a small personal army.
