Eidos announces that Lara Croft's latest adventure is heading to the Nintendo GameCube
For the first time ever, Lara Croft is set to go adventuring on a Nintendo console. That is, if you don't count the Game Boy Advance or the Game Boy Color.
In a somewhat surprising announcement, Eidos today confirmed that Tomb Raider: Legend is heading to Nintendo's GameCube this fall -- some five or six months after the release of the PS2, Xbox, PC, and Xbox 360 versions. Tomb Raider: Legend is a re-envisioning of Core's classic adventure series, complete with a new look and feel. The game has earned positive buzz, and the first reviews are imminent.
It also appears that a PSP version is in the pipeline, but no time frame has been given as of yet.
We'll keep you posted with the latest news from Eidos on the Tomb Raider series.
