It's official -- the developers behind Katamari Damacy have moved onto other projects
It's official -- the developers behind Katamari Damacy have moved on to other projects.
Though rumors have swirled for days, it seems as though the news is true, at least judging by the fact that the official Japanese Katamari Damacy site is gone, replaced by a farewell announcement. The US site is still live.
The news doesn't come as a monumental surprise, given that Katamari creator Keita Takahashi has gone on record as saying that he despises video game sequels, though he reluctantly returned to helm We Love Katamari, the second game in the trilogy.
But at least this grey cloud has a silver lining: Me and My Katamari ships today for the PSP.
