Industry veterans of Halo and Half Life fame form a new development house

Former Halo and Half Life developers have formed a new next-generation development house called Giant Bite Games. The new studio says it will focus on, "The creation of excellent games and a fun workplace."

The development talent that forms Giant Bite Games has been involved in the creation of such world-renowned games as Halo, Halo 2, Half Life, and Counterstrike. The studio's executive team has shipped over 30 games with a combined twenty million units sold.

"We're proud of our work at Bungie, Microsoft and Zipper," says Michael Evans, former Multiplayer Lead and Lead Engineer at Bungie Studios. "It was amazing to work with such fantastic teams on games that turned out so successfully. And now, we're excited to build something of our own."

No word yet on what Giant Bite's first game will be, but the studio is currently discussing its first project.
