DS Software Sales Still Going Strong

DS games continue strong sales despite hardware shortages

Seven DS games made the top ten in Japan's weekly software charts despite region-wide DS hardware shortages.

More DS Training for Adults: Work Your Brain continues to dominate in the number one slot, with Animal Crossing: Wild World and the first DS Training for Adults: Work Your Brain in the number two and three slots, respectively.

Four other DS titles, including Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time, also made the top ten. Only one Sony PSP title, Gunparade Orchestra: White Chapter, made the list, coming in at number five.

Even though Nintendo has officially denied the rumors of an upcoming redesigned DS, industry experts still consider it a possibility.
