UPDATE: Tecmo Says "No Plans" for PS3 Dead or Alive

We hope to have official word from Tecmo soon.

With rumors swirling that Tecmo is developing a Dead or Alive title on the PS3, we contacted Ryan Arbogast of the USA-based Tecmo, Inc. for the official word.

"This is the first I've heard of it," Arbogast said. "I'm kind of in shock myself."

UPDATE: Tecmo, Inc. has now confirmed with us that reports of DOA landing on the PS3 can be "officially denied."

"We currently have no plans to bring this title to the PlayStation," a Tecmo representative told us.
