EA Unveils Def Jam Fight for NY: The Takeover

Def Jam keeps up the fight for New York in EA's next title.

Here we go again.

EA today formally announced Def Jam Fight For NY: The Takeover, which marks the first time the popular fighting series has landed on the PSP.

It turns out that this latest brawler is actually a prequel to the first game, Def Jam Vendetta. EA promises that the game will include new fighting moves and venues, as well as a promising-sounding wireless head-to-head option.

The Takeover is set to star such entertainment luminaries as Carmen Electra, Lil' Kim, Snoop Dogg, and Busta Rhymes. You'll also be able to pimp out your fighter with an assortment of licensed apparel, including Reebok, Ecko Unlimited, Rocawear, and Sean John.

Look for The Takeover this spring.
