Bungie Planning Massive Halo 2 Update

The Xbox ain't dead yet.

Halo fans, start your engines.

Bungie has revealed that they're planning some mammoth additions to Halo 2's Xbox Live multiplayer action. The key highlight is the addition of several new game types: 6v6 Team Battle and Rumble Armory are the standouts. 6v6 Team Battle is much like Big Team Battle, but supports smaller teams and smaller, oft-ignored maps. Rumble Armory, meanwhile, is a straightforward Slayer match which gives each player the same weapon.

There are other changes, too. Major Clanmatch and Head to Head match types have been removed, while Team Snipers now shows up on the ranked playlists. Team ActionSack is another new addition, and reportedly consists of community-inspired game types.
