Square Enix Reveals Final Fantasy XII Price, New "Potion" Drink

Suntory and Square Enix team up to make an herbal drink inspired by potions in Final Fantasy.

Square Enix announced the price of Final Fantasy XII in Japan as well as a new drink made inspired from the franchise.

Slated for launch March 16, 2006, the game will retail in Japan for 8990 yen (about $74.50). In addition the company has announced a collaboration with Santory to make a new drink tentatively called Final Fantasy XII Potion, which is "a combination of unique herbs" and has a "taste like nothing else," according to president Yoichi Wada. The final design has yet to be established, but it will be in a blue, crystal-like bottle. Launching alongside the game in March, the Potion's price is still unknown.
