50 Cent Says Bulletproof Game is OK for Kids

Rapper urges parents to buy Bulletproof videogame for use as a teaching tool.

50 Cent: Bulletproof, the new videogame based on the life of Rapper 50 Cent, was released this month on console game systems. And, according to Reuters, the popular rapper is endorsing the violent game as a "teaching tool".

50 Cent: Bulletproof has received a Mature (17+) rating from the Electronic Software Rating Board.

In defense of violent videogames, Rapper 50 Cent states, " Just because it is rated mature doesn't mean you shouldn't buy it for your kid." He goes on to say that parents should have a more involved relationship in their kids' game playing. "Play the game and explain to them what they are playing, " he says.

"If we have to take away video games, then we have to think about other things," says 50. "And then we have no entertainment because we might influence somebody who's crazy."

50 Cent: Bulletproof retails for $49.99, and has been subject to mediocre review scores.
