Call of Duty 2: Big Red One Storms Retail

The WWII console sequel ships out to retail stores.

Call of Duty 2: Big Red One, the sequel to last year's Call of Duty: Finest Hour, shipped out to retail stores today. Developed by Treyarch, the first-person shooter puts players in the boots of the highly decorated WWII heroes in the US Army's famed Fighting 1st Infantry Division, known as the Big Red One.

In the game, players will get to play alongside a single squad to accomplish a variety of missions spanning from Northern Africa to Nazi-occupied Western Europe.

Call of Duty 2: Big Red One is available for the PS2, Xbox, and GameCube, with online multiplayer support on Xbox Live and PlayStation 2 Online.
