Gameplay details on Resident Evil remake for DS surface in Famitsu.
The most recent issue of Japanese Famitsu magazine has revealed some interesting details about Resident Evil: Deadly Silence for the Nintendo DS. According to Famitsu, Deadly Silence will release on January 16, 2006 in Japan, for 5,040 yen ($44 US), and will include two different game modes: rebirth and classic.Rebirth is a remake of the original Resident Evil with entirely new traps, features, and updated controls that utilize the DS stylus. Classic mode, on the other hand, will be exactly like the original game, with no stylus control.
Deadly Silence will also support four-player cooperative and versus multiplayer modes on one DS unit. Currently, the game does not support wireless play.
