Ubisoft Delays Ghost Recon 3: Advanced Warfighter for Xbox 360

Bad news for fans of the Tom Clancy series...but not as bad as it could be.
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon 3: Advanced Warfighter (what a name!) has been pushed back until February of 2006, Ubisoft sources can reveal. This delay will affect the game's release on all consoles and the PC.
It had been previously estimated that the game would ship in 2005, so Ubisoft's shift comes as something of a surprise. The additional time will be used to "perfect" the game, according to our source, suggesting that the delay does not represent a troubled development cycle.
Earlier this week, Ghost Recon 3 was one of the showcased games featured at Microsoft's X05 event in Amsterdam.
