EA Unveils Xbox 360 Launch Lineup, Battlefield 2: Modern Combat

Come one, come all, and hear tell of EA's Xbox 360 launch lineup.

The Xbox 360 launch lineup has just officially gained a slew of triple-A franchises.

EA today announced that three more eagerly-anticipated games--Battlefield 2: Modern Combat, The Godfather, and a new entry in the Burnout: Revenge series--were coming for the Xbox 360. No release dates were available for those games.

EA also announced that enhanced versions of its key franchises would make the late November Xbox 360 launch. Gamers can expect to see Need for Speed Most Wanted, Madden NFL 06, NBA Live 06, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 06, and FIFA 06: Road to FIFA World Cup on store shelves on or about November 22nd.

EA announced that these five key games would officially debut at Microsoft's X05 conference in Amsterdam, which begins on Tuesday.
