F.E.A.R. Demo Released

Ladies and gentlemen, F.E.A.R. is here.
The retail release of F.E.A.R. is still a full month off, but the demo is another story. You can download the demo for F.E.A.R. now. It weighs in a 644 megs, relatively modest by PC demo standards.F.E.A.R. made a strong showing at E3. The first-person gameplay borrows elements from Half-Life 2 and Halo 2, but also endowed players with the ability to slow down firefights (ala Bullet Time in The Matrix), as well as topple enemies with slides and scissor kicks. The visuals are also striking, with great gouts of smoke and sparks accompanying every firefight.
F.E.A.R. comes out on September 5th, courtesy of Vivendi Universal and developer Monolith Studios.
