Square Enix Announces Japan Release date for Final Fantasy XII

North American release still vaguely set at 2006.

Square Enix has announced the release date for Final Fantasy XII for the PlayStation 2. The game will hit retailers in Japan on March 16, 2006. An exact North American release date has yet to be announced, with the game slated for launch "later in 2006"--which will likely mean the fall/holiday season.
