Sega's Arcade Board Not Based on 360

The publisher's arcade board will not be based on Xbox 360 architecture.

Sega representatives today announced that its upcoming arcade board will not be based on Microsoft's next-generation console, the Xbox 360, thus ending speculation that its games could be ported from system to system.

Titled Lindbergh, the board, according to Sega, is not based on any next-generation console or architecture.

It was assumed that Lindbergh would have similar technology as the Xbox 360 because Sega's last arcade board, Chihiro, was based on the Microsoft Xbox.
