The publisher's arcade board will not be based on Xbox 360 architecture.
Sega representatives today announced that its upcoming arcade board will not be based on Microsoft's next-generation console, the Xbox 360, thus ending speculation that its games could be ported from system to system.Titled Lindbergh, the board, according to Sega, is not based on any next-generation console or architecture.
It was assumed that Lindbergh would have similar technology as the Xbox 360 because Sega's last arcade board, Chihiro, was based on the Microsoft Xbox.
