PlayStation 2 Sales Jump with DQ8 Sales

PS2 sales spike with the release of the maniacally popular RPG from Square Enix.
Media Create has released the latest Japanese hardware sales charts for the week ending November 28th, 2004. PlayStation 2 sales spiked to 108,148 units with the release of Dragon Quest VIII, and the DS trailed far behind with 31,198 units. Xbox sales once again returned to its normal (and really low) sales with the wake of Dead or Alive Ultimate excitement dying down.
