Kingdom Hearts for GBA Debuts Number One in Japan

Still slow sales overall, but Square Enix's GBA RPG gets solid sales.
Media Create has released its top 10 game sales charts for the week ending November 14th, 2004. Top 100 titles sold a total of 693,954 units, 107.7% of last week's total and 76.8% of the weekly average. Sales spurred on by new releases as usual, the eleven new titles that shipped that week accounted for 57.9% of sales. In a stark contrast to U.S. sales, Halo 2 debuted in Japan with only 37,507 units sold.The top ten are:
- Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories - GBA - 203,271 units*
- Magnacarta - PS2 - 121,946 units*
- Halo 2 - Xbox - 37,507 units*
- The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap - GBA - 31,098 units
- Mario Tennis - GC - 22,339 units
- Mawaru Made in Wario - GBA - 15,327 units
- Shining Tears - PS2 - 15,219 units
- Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War - PS2 - 14,425 units
- Pokemon Emerald - GBA - 14,093 units
- Bokujyo Story: Oh! Wonderful Life - PS2 - 12,995 units*
