Gran Turismo 4 Delayed in Both Japan and U.S.

Unforseen troubles push back the release until next year stateside.

Sony Computer Entertainment America announced this morning that Gran Turismo 4 has been delayed yet again, with the release now slated for a January-March 2005 time frame, and a December 28 release in japan.

The exact reasons for the delay are nebulously explained through corporate-speak--understandably due to previous delay announcements and the recent revelation of multiplayer not making it into the game.

"Natural challenges with finalizing all the key features and localization issues across worldwide territories have led to the difficult choice of pushing back the release date," said the company in a statement.

Stay tuned for more concrete news of the game's official release date.
