Buy Halo 2 Now--For $150+ Dollars

Rumors that retailers have broke the street date, plus over-inflated auctions surface on Ebay.
Although Halo 2 is launching on Tuesday, some eager gamers have been willing to put out an extra couple hundred dollars to get their hands on the game--rumors have been circulating that retailers in the Midwest have broken the street date for Halo 2, and ebay bids show the game going for as much as $265 dollars.The news will hardly matter to Bungie, who is expected to make more money on the launch day of Halo 2 than any movie launch--the game broke the record for pre-orders, with over 1.5 million slated to sell when it hits retailers November 9.
Although many of the ebay bids offer next day shipping, it's best to save those C notes as you'd only be able to play the game a couple days in advance.
