Nintendo says Touching is Good for You

Go ahead, touch it if you dare.

Starting today, Nintendo will be launching a multi-million dollar campaign to promote its new DS system. The motto, ?Touching is good? will be expressed in a series of first-round television spots that promote Nintendo?s dual screen gaming hardware. Each twenty-second spot will have a sultry woman?s voice encouraging viewers to interact with two blue boxes that appear on a static filled screen.

The Nintendo DS will launch on November 21st at a $149.99 price tag. A demo of Metroid Prime Hunters: First Hunt will be packaged with the system. By the end of the year, there will be at least 10 games available for the DS, which will include Madden NFL 2005, Spider-Man 2, Ridge Racer DS, and Rayman. There are currently over 120 games being developed for the Nintendo DS.
