Nintendo DS Retail Packaging Unveiled

Nintendo unveils the final look of the retail packaging for the DS, slated for a November release.

Nintendo has unveiled the final look of the North American retail packaging for its upcoming Nintendo DS handheld platform. The box prominently advertises its Metroid Prime Hunters demo, which is included with the system.

The demo for the first-person adventure game will have several single-player modes as well as a four-player wireless multiplayer demo.

Also to be included in the package is PictoChat software, allowing for users to send messages and pictures wireless to other users.

The Nintendo DS is slated for release on November 21 with the suggested retail price of $149.99. More details of the platform's lineup are expected to be unveiled in a huge marketing push by Nintendo next month.
