Mortal Kombat Deception Goes Online, Coming to GameCube

Fight against others online for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox.
Midway has announced that Mortal Kombat Deception is being developed on the GameCube, slated for release in the first half of 2005.In addition, the PlayStation 2 and Xbox versions will feature online gameplay, enabling players to fight against each other in Kombat (standard fighting mode), Konquest (strategy), Puzzle, and Chess Kombat modes.
The sixth Mortal Kombat game to see the light of day, Mortal Kombat Deception features familiar characters including Scorpion, and includes the hallmark over-the-top violent fatalities.
