Konami Offers MGS3 Special Editions for Preorder and Shareholders

Premium edition offered in Japan includes a free soundtrack CD and screensaver for Windows.

Konami has announced a free premium edition of Metal Gear Solid 3 for those who own more than 100 shares of the company, which will launch alongside the standard version.

Details of what will be included are not known, but following with Konami's tradition it will undoubtedly be loaded with various Metal Gear merchandise.

Those who preorder the game will also have a special deal, getting a free soundtrack CD that includes six tracks, a music video clip and a Windows screensaver.

Although no final release date has been confirmed, the company is still shooting for a holiday release, and will likely see a release in October or November.
