Star Wars Galaxies to Launch in Japan

EA to handle operations and customer support for the fully localized Japanese version.
LucasArts announced that it has signed an agreement with Electronic Arts Japan to release a localized version of the Star Wars Galaxies MMORPG along with its Jump to Light Speed expansion in December.Under the terms of the agreement, EA Japan will handle customer support, hosting, and operations for the game.
Star Wars Galaxies was released in July 2003, and is awaiting the release of Jump to Lightspeed, a "twitch" style space action game giving players the opportunity to make, fly and customize their own ship.
