Swingin' Ape to Develop Starcraft: Ghost

Metals Arms developer to finish the delayed action game.

Following news of Starcraft: Ghost being delayed, Blizzard has announced that it has signed on Swingin' Ape to finish the game. Most recently known for Metal Arms, the developer takes over where Nihilistic Software left off with the project.

"The team at Swingin' Ape Studios is a very talented group of developers with a proven ability to deliver extraordinary games," said Blizzard's president and cofounder Mike Morhaime. "We're confident that this partnership will result in titles that achieve the level of quality that players have come to expect from Blizzard products." Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

The game is slated for release in 2005 for the Xbox, PlayStation 2, and GameCube.
