Media Create has released its list of the top 10 selling Japanese games for the week of April 19-25, 2004.

The top 10 are:

  1. Derby Stallion 4 - PS2 - 297,022 units*
  2. Muscle Man Generations - PS2 - 84,098*
  3. Star Kirby: Labyrinth of Mirriors - GBA - 53,976
  4. Dragon Quest V: Tenku no Hanamusume - PS2 - 42,626
  5. Rockman Zero 3 - GBA - 39,281*
  6. Crimson Tears - PS2 - 32,050*
  7. Mario Golf GBA Tour - GBA - 18,164 units*
  8. Shin Tenmakai Generations of Chaos IV - PS2 - 23,068*
  9. Famicom-mini Super Mario Bros - GBA - 18,164 units
  10. Pocket Monster FireRed - GBA - 17,519
* New releases New releases dominate the top ten list, most of which saw mediocre sales. The exception is race horse breeding game Derby Stallion 4, which debuted selling almost 300,000 units. Super Mario Bros for the GBA still clings on to the top ten charts two months after its release. Top 100 game sales are 78.23% of the weekly average.
