Realistic racing game to feature hundreds of cars and true-to-life physics.
Konami Digital Entertainment has announced today Enthusia Professional Racing, a new racing franchise developed by Konami Computer Entertainment Studios. Like the Gran Turismo series, the game promises to bring a realistic driving experience, and will "focus on the driving experience rather than the time spend under the hood." Enthusia will include hundreds of cars from more than 40 real-life manufacturers, each car driven and captured in real life by the dev team.Notable features include a Visual Gravity System, which indicates to the player the G-forces applied to the car while racing, including momentum, slip, and acceleration. Staged tuning will allow for players unfamiliar with car tuning to upgrade their cars, and variable weather conditions will pose unpredictable challenges for players on the road. The game will feature dozens of real-life as well as fictional tracks to choose from, and has the standard camera views, including first and third-person perspectives.
Enthusia Professional Racing is slated for release in 2005.
