Tecmo Announces Master Ninja Tournament

Compete with other Ninja Gaiden players over Xbox Live.

Tecmo has announced that registration will begin on Monday, May 3 for the North America Master Ninja Tournament. The three-round Ninja Gaiden competition begins on May 12, with the registrants receiving The Live Key via Xbox Live, which will allowing them to unlock the Master Ninja Tournament Worldwide Scoreboard. The Scorecard will keep track of player's Karma scores, which are available only after the player has beaten the game on normal difficulty.

Players will have three chances to advance to the second round, where "new challenges" and additional will be made available. Finals will be held in an "undisclosed European location," with plans for the competition to expand to Europe and Asia.

Tecmo plans to unveil more information next month.
