New Screenshots of Final Fantasy XII, Vaan Has a Girlfriend?

Vaan reportedly has an equally cheery girlfriend by the name of Panelo.

More screenshots have emerged of Square Enix's Final Fantasy XII, showing the two recently unveiled characters, Balfrear and Fran. Balfrear is a flirtatious and wine-loving Hume sky pirate, while Fran is a Viera (humans with bunny ears) warrior, who is in charge of maintaining Balfrear's airship.

Also, according to the latest issue of Japanese manga magazine Shonen Jump, Vaan has a girlfriend by the name of Panelo, who is supposedly a 16 year old Hume. Equally cheery and up-beat as Vaan, she looks to Vaan for support, but is seen getting into a scuffle with the protagnist.

A release date has not yet been announced for the game.
