Never let your berries run dry with a program update for Pok?mon Ruby/Sapphire.
Nintendo has announced an update to fix internal clock issues with Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire, which made certain berry trees stop producing berries after playing the game for one year. There are two ways to update your game -- the game will be automatically updated when you connect to Pokemon Colosseum, or you can also take the game cartridge to a GameCube interactive display at either GameStop or EB Games to download the free update.
In addition to fixing the glitch, Nintendo has promised a "special gift" that players can receive.
The requirements are:
- Make sure that your active team has five or less Pokemon in it.
- You must have saved the game at least once after obtaining Torchic, Treecko or Mudkip from Professor Birch.
