True Crime Coming to PC, with Multiplayer

Activision has announced today that True Crime: Streets of L.A. will be released on the PC this spring. Players will once again play as one-man-hero Nick Kang to take on the Triads, Russian Mafias, and random grannies gone berserk. Although the single player game will be largely unchanged, there will be new weapons and unlockable characters.The PC version will feature online multiplayer, allowing up to four players to join and play five different modes. There will be a "Fast and Furious style" "Street Racing" mode, a street patrol mode called "The Beat", a hand-to-hand combat mode called "Dojo Master", a deathmatch mode called "Battle Master," and a high speed car chase mode called "The Chase." In the "The Chase," players can either play as the pursuing cops or the desperate-for-life criminal.
True Crime: Streets of L.A. is still unrated, but expect an "Mature rating since both the Xbox and PlayStation 2 versions were M rated. A specific release date has not been announced, but according to EB games it will ship on March 14, 2004.
