Nokia Giving Away 70,000 Free Copies of Tomb Raider

People who go to the Sugar Bowl can receive a free full version of Tomb Raider for the N-Gage.

Eidos has announced today that they will be giving over 70,000 free copies of Tomb Raider for the N-Gage to attendees of the Sugar Bowl, the college football game held on Sunday, January 4.

"Tomb Raider starring Lara Croft is one of the strongest titles so far for the Nokia N-Gage," said Debra Kennedy, Nokia. "We are pleased to work with Eidos to share the Tomb Raider experience with the lucky fans at this year's Nokia Sugar Bowl."

Could it be a move to rid excess inventory, or a bold move to entice people to the N-Gage? If it is the former, at least they're not burying millions of copies in a forlorn desert.
